Kick-off Turkey Creek Day with a invigorating family fun run! The Turkey Creek Tortoise Trot starts bright and early at 7:30 AM, taking participants on a scenic course through the sanctuary’s trails.
Registration:
Adults: $20
Children (12 & under): $10
Family (2 adults & 2 children): $50
Register at the Nature Center or online at turkeycreek.org and print your receipt. All runners receive a special Turkey Creek mug and enjoy a continental breakfast after the run.
A Natural Oasis in Palm Bay: Turkey Creek Sanctuary 🌿
Turkey Creek Sanctuary is a 133-acre haven for nature enthusiasts and a vital part of Palm Bay’s ecological landscape. This unique preserve boasts diverse habitats, including mesic and hydric hammock, pine flatwoods, and a mangrove swamp. These ecosystems provide a home to a rich variety of plant and animal life, from majestic bald eagles soaring overhead to playful river otters frolicking in the creek.
