Nighttime Lane Closures Announced for Malabar Road in Palm Bay
In an effort to perform essential construction and paving repairs, nighttime lane closures are scheduled for a section of Malabar Road in Palm Bay, Florida. According to a notice released by the city on May 1, 2023, Orange State/US Contracting, the contractor for Malabar Mini-Storage, will be conducting the repairs to address utility work crossing issues.
The affected area is located on Malabar Road between Walmart and Emerson Drive. To ensure the safety of motorists and construction personnel, CMS boards and channelizing devices will be placed at appropriate locations. It is important to note that the closures will only take place during nighttime hours, and lanes will remain open during the day.
The scheduled dates and times for the nighttime lane closures are as follows: May 3rd and 4th, from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. These closures are necessary for the completion of the roadway paving repairs.
Residents and commuters in the area are advised to exercise caution and plan their travels accordingly, as temporary road and sidewalk closures will be required during the construction period.
