I listened to the podcast of this meeting tonite. (its only 45 min, its worth listening to, always entertaining IMO). One passing comment I caught from the City Mgr was in order to pay for the South Parkway expansion; they are looking at creative ways to finance it. One thing he mentioned exploring was establishing a toll on the road once completed. He cited that Osceola and surrounding counties had done it. I'm not in favor of piling user fees onto residents, but a user fee for using a new road isn't entirely out of line IMO. (Especially if they weight the tolls towards the commercial vehicles that will be involved in development. )
I believe I have lost faith in ALL politicians!!! I cannot tolerate the lies, hypocrisy & egos these people spew. I vote NPA & try to choose the best candidate in the elections. I don't know how some of these !@#$%^ &*(+? 's got elected. Some TWICE!!! For the record, I did not vote for Langevin, proudly. Rant over.
The Langevin suit outcome was predictable (and desirable IMO). Its a shame the money and effort was expended only to enrich lawyers and provide a grandstanding platform for amateur pols (per Mr Langevin's prediction, the Gov wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole). What WILL be worth watching is what the voters have to say if/when Mr Langevin seeks re-election.

One word says it all……..Langevin SHAME!
All these assessments should worry all as a way to circumvent the 3%cap .
With the legislature considering removing property taxes this can be a way to increase taxes by adding assessments to all utilities/services
