Get ready for another summer of fun and excitement as Palm Bay Recreation announces the return of its popular Summer Fun Camp for 2024! This year's camp promises a thrilling experience for children ages 6-12, packed with engaging activities, enriching experiences, and lasting memories.
Camp Details:
Dates: May 28, 2024 - August 2, 2024 (No camp on May 27th, July 4th, or 5th)
Times: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Locations:
Tony Rosa Community Center (1502 Port Malabar Blvd. NE, (321) 952-3443)
Ted Whitlock Community Center (370 Championship Cir. NW, (321) 952-3231)
Fees: $90 per week (plus the cost of mandatory trips and optional specials, discounts available for eligible participants)
Registration: Is open, and space is limited per location per week. Registration closes at 5 AM on the first day of each session.
Activities Galore:
Summer Fun Camp offers a diverse range of activities designed to keep campers entertained, active, and engaged throughout the summer. From sports and games to arts and crafts, STEM learning, outdoor exploration, reading time, and more, there's something for everyone to enjoy. This year, campers will also participate in mandatory trips and have the option to join special events, adding to the excitement and adventure of the camp experience.
Flexible and Convenient:
With convenient hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, parents have the flexibility to drop off and pick up their children at any time during the camp day. This allows for easy scheduling and ensures that campers can participate in all the exciting activities offered.
Registration Information:
Registration for Summer Fun Camp is open and conducted online through the city's website. Due to limited space, early registration is strongly encouraged. Please note that registration for each session closes at 5 AM on the first day of camp.
Emergency Information and Forms:
For added safety and efficient communication, Summer Fun Camp utilizes ePACT Network to manage emergency contact information, allergies, and other important details for each camper. Parents will receive an email invitation to complete the necessary forms through ePACT Network upon registering their child. Please ensure all paperwork is submitted before the first day of camp.
Discounts Available:
Palm Bay Recreation is committed to making Summer Fun Camp accessible to all families. Discounts are available for eligible participants, such as those who qualify for the Free/Reduced Lunch Program or EBT Food Assistance.
