The chase began when Trooper Tyler Novak, stationed on State Road 520 in Orange County, clocked a black Toyota Camry speeding at 103 mph in a 65 mph zone. The vehicle, driven by Brown, failed to heed the trooper’s attempt to pull it over, setting the stage for a pursuit that would test the limits of law enforcement’s resolve and the public’s safety.
