Palm Bay's Fun Friday Returns with Traditional Country Flair
Strumming into the New Year: Palm Bay's Fun Friday Makes a Comeback!
As the calendar turns to a new year, Palm Bay residents can mark their calendars for a revitalized community tradition that's coming back with a twang! Fun Friday, a beloved monthly event, is set to make its grand return on January 5th, promising a blend of family fun, local crafts, and a toe-tapping musical experience.
Thomas Tritt, the frontman of the Blue Diamond Band, expressed the group's enthusiasm about being the first to grace the stage at the comeback of this event. "We are happy to be the first band at the return of Palm Bay's Fun Friday. Come out for some great traditional country music," Tritt invites the community.
Hosted at the Veteran Memorial Park, located at 2225 Port Malabar Blvd in Palm Bay, from 5 PM to 10 PM, this event is not just about music. Organizers are ensuring that there's something for everyone. Along with the melodic heart of country music, visitors can expect an array of craft vendors showcasing local artistry, an assortment of food trucks serving up delicious eats, and a dedicated kids' zone for the little ones to enjoy.
The Blue Diamond Band, known for their authentic country sound, promises an evening where "Honkytonk is made great again," aligning perfectly with the event's theme. The band's commitment to 'real country music' is a call to all country music aficionados and those looking for a taste of nostalgia and American roots music.
Admission to Fun Friday is as appealing as the event itself, with free parking and free entry, making it accessible to all. The event is produced by TRITT Production in collaboration with the City of Palm Bay and Palm Bay Recreation, whose joint efforts are a nod to the community spirit of Palm Bay.
As the first of the series with subsequent events planned for February 2nd and March 1st, this kick-off is just the beginning. So, dust off your cowboy boots and join your neighbors under the stars for what promises to be a memorable night of music, community, and fun.
