Thanks Tom for covering the upcoming election for us. I haven't seen any other in depth coverage other than Brevard News. I hope during the campaign that some clear positions are stated on mandatory Utility connections and Septic conversions. (mostly unfunded at this time per my understanding). The only thing I've heard recently is Mr Jaffe saying in Council Reports that he would address it with Tallahassee (as residents are going to have a hard time absorbing >~$15K-$30K + costs, ,especially if they live miles away from the lagoon or any waterway)? The canned response seems to be this comes from Tallahassee and there's nothing we can do about it. (I'd argue that the elimination of homestead property taxes is also coming from Tallahassee, and I'll bet most City officials are lobbying hard against it)
