A couple things that bother me...An ordinance to halt construction on Sundays & holidays not only effects our hardworking blue collar construction workers, but it also effects our economics from Contractor contributions when purchasing materials from Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware and any other construction suppliers that are open on Sunday & holidays. Most of noise comes from new developers concentrated in a single area to meet timelines for their new home buyers. I'm against this ordinance. Second, After the 1.1 million dollar judgement, and the possible Langevin ruling yet to be determined, I question the advice the City Attorney and her staff has given Council and City Manager. From what I watched at the last Charter Review meeting, the attending assistant attorney did not seem to know the answers that the Review Committee asked him. I was not impressed. Actually, I think he is inadequate.
