The City of Palm Bay has announced a critical infrastructure upgrade scheduled for next weekend. This isn’t just a minor update—it is a significant system overhaul that will result in a near-total blackout of city communications for several days.

Here are the critical details you need to know:

📅 When is this happening?

Friday, December 5th through Monday, December 8th. Note: Restoration time on Monday is TBD.

🚫 What is down?

  • Phone Lines: All city department phone lines will be dead.

  • In-Person Service: City Hall and other facilities will have extremely limited ability to help you because their internal systems will be offline.

  • Online Portals: Most internal networks will be inaccessible.

📧 The Workarounds (Save These!)

While the phones are down, cloud-based email will still be active. If you have an urgent issue during the outage, use these direct lines:

💧 Utilities & Billing

The Utilities office will be CLOSED on Friday, Dec 5th.
