Nobody to blame other than the inept administration at town hall who have mismanaged this cities affairs for a good 10 years!
At this point Palm Bay attracts only low income or retirees that have very little in their portfolio to spend on their home purchases.
The only way to stop this death plunge is to stop approving these massive residential HOA farms. The units are only selling because the price is equal to or less, than the units for sell that are owned by individuals.
As I have said in previous articles here in the PB’er, there needs to be an all out effort to attract businesses and bring attractions that will typically pay more and have better employee perks than all of the fast food chains and storage facilities!
Dressing up the community should be ranked very high on the “to do” lists of this administration. The city needs to be made more attractive to potential residents. There needs to be an infusion of funds and apparently the current population sadly cannot, and does not have the capacity to make this happen.
We need to stop allowing residential expansion and concentrate on making our hurting city more attractive! Folks will then start considering PB as a potential place to live……Like bees to honey!
A minimum wage earner should be still living at home with his parents. He is not ready credit wise to rent, buy a house or be independent.
Yes it is an issue that a married couple can't afford to rent or buy a house unless both have decent paying jobs.
