I don't see a lot of houses for sale. If there is, supply & demand dictates that it will trend prices downward which will make houses more affordable. ( a good thing) I think this is what the above analysis is saying.
This article is right on point. Decisions made by previous City Planning & Zoning & Council to allow so many new developments to flood the area has a direct effect on resale home sales in Palm Bay. New home sales offer buyers a better mortgage rate, lower insurance rates, thousands of dollars toward down payment closing costs & a brand new home. Every time the City Land Use Plan & Rezoning to Residential is approved by our City Officials, it hurts the existing residents both in home value and ability to sell their homes.
