You make a good point about the need for fire hydrants being on every street, and the benefit to homeowners' insurance discounts and in general. Could you imagine we have to rely on "Water Trucks" to fight fires where no city water exist? I agree with all the building going with these PUD's there is a critical need for the city to take a hard look at the amount of traffic congestion there is. This will cause our "new" roads to deteriorate (they are already) so much quicker. If we aren't proactive, we become reactive which means more taxes. We're already suffering, so they need to stop building large developments and stop with all the tax incentives. It isn't hard to figure out why the city allows these PUD's to continue to build. It's because they know they have to build the infrastructure, and that cost is passed on to owners.
