What is the elected wasting tax money upon and beyond paying our cops and ems a decent wage. These are NEW tax revenues. Include that with the “old” taxes and we should be talking tax cuts. How about levying a 5 grand surcharge to every new housing permit and allow those coming here to pay for the services we citizens burdenly pay for. Does the council understand the prices of food, gas, utilities,insurance, mortgages etc? Tax increases are ludicrous given the economy.
